Cordon

Frequently asked questions

Does Cordon include servers?

No. Cordon is a client. You connect it to servers you run yourself or get from a provider you trust.

Is Cordon a VPN?

It does the same job of routing your traffic through a server you choose, with rules for exactly which traffic. It does not provide a VPN service.

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for.

What does Cordon collect?

Nothing. No analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking libraries. Your servers, rules and logs stay on your device.

Which protocols are supported?

Shadowsocks, VMess, VLESS (including REALITY), Trojan, Hysteria2, TUIC, WireGuard, SOCKS5 and HTTP(S), with more planned. A link Cordon can’t run is refused with the reason.

How does Pro work?

Pro is a one-time purchase through Apple. It unlocks the limits of the free tier on every device on the same Apple Account, including Family Sharing.

When is it available?

Cordon is in development. Check back here, or email us and we’ll tell you when it launches.

Is Cordon open source?

Cordon uses open-source software under its own licences. They are listed in the app under Settings, then Acknowledgements.
